Performance Dashboard

Performance Dashboard Overview

The Accelerate Education Performance Dashboard provides administrators, teachers, and observers with instant access to a streamlined view of student progress and performance across enrollments.

Accessing the Performance Dashboard

To open the Performance Dashboard, select Performance Dashboard from the main menu.

If you have multiple roles, the dashboard displays only the enrollments associated with the role you are currently viewing:

  • Teachers see enrollments for courses they are teaching.
  • Observers see enrollments for students with whom they are associated.
  • Administrators see all applicable enrollments.

For example, a user with both Teacher and Observer roles can access the dashboard directly from the main menu while signed in as a Teacher. When switching to the Observer view, the user must first select a student before returning to the main menu to open the Performance Dashboard.

Enrollment Status Filters

Four status filters are available at the top of the dashboard. These allow you to quickly identify enrollments that may require attention:

  • All Active – Displays all active enrollments.
  • On Track – Enrollments with:
    • A raw score of at least 60%
    • Fewer than 15% of gradable items overdue
  • At Risk – Enrollments with:
    • A raw score below 60% and/or
    • 15% or more gradable items overdue
  • Critical – Enrollments that are At Risk and:
    • The student has not logged in for more than 7 days and/or
    • The course end date is within the next 14 days

Sorting and Additional Filters

In addition to the status filters, you can sort or filter the dashboard using the following fields:

  • Domain
  • Alerts
  • Student
  • Course
  • Last Login
  • Percentage Complete

Each enrollment displays pacing and progress data, including trend arrows that indicate whether metrics are improving, remaining steady, or falling behind.

After applying filters or sorting, select Reset Report to clear all selections and return to the default view.

Reports, Downloads, and Help

Select Detailed Reports to open the Reports and Tools menu, where additional reporting options are available.

Use the Download CSV button to export the data currently visible on the dashboard. The download also includes additional contact details and External IDs (when available) to support filtering and sorting.

The Report Help link opens a page with detailed definitions for each data point on the dashboard. While data is near real time, slight delays may occur during peak LMS activity.

Student Detail View

Clicking a student’s name opens a detailed view for that student. Users only see enrollments with which they are associated:

  • Administrators and Observers see all enrollments for associated students.
  • Teachers see enrollments for courses they are teaching.

At the top of the Student Detail page, informational banners display:

  • Last login date
  • Total time online across all courses in the last 7 days
  • Total number of gradable activities completed in the last 7 days
  • Total number of overdue assignments

The Student Detail section also lists teachers for each course and provides options to email teachers directly or copy their email addresses. Additional course-level data, including total time spent in each course, is displayed here.

Select Print Report to generate a PDF version of the student’s information, which can be saved or printed as needed.

Use the navigation options to return to the Performance Dashboard when finished.
