Initial Teacher Training - Part 2 (Accelerate Education's Buzz Instance)

Primary Audience/Platform (LMS)

New Teachers/Accelerate Education’s instance of the Buzz platform (LMS)

Introduction/Prerequisites:

Before attending Part 2, teachers should complete the on-demand Teacher Training – Part 1 activity. Whenever possible, we encourage all new teachers to attend this critical Part 2 training live.

Register for Synchronous Session:

Mondays: 11:00 -1:00 Eastern (8:00- 10:00 Pacific)

Mondays: 2:30 – 4:30 Eastern (11:30 – 1:30 Pacific)

Tuesdays : 3:00 – 5:00 Eastern (noon – 2:30 Pacific)

Wednesdays : 1:30 – 3:30 Eastern (10:30 – 12:30 Pacific)

Thursdays : 11:00 – 1:00 Eastern (8:00 – 10:00 Pacific)

Refresher Teacher Training - Buzz LMS

Introduction/Prerequisites:

Teachers should have previously taught on Buzz prior to attending the refresher webinar. If you are new to Buzz please register for the Initial teacher training session instead.

Introduction/Prerequisites:

Presently teaching on the Accelerate Education Buzz platform.

Register for Synchronous Session:

Fridays: 10:00 – 10:45 Eastern (7:00 – 7:45 Pacific)

For our Canvas and Schoology users, we don’t have sessions scheduled in May. These will be offered at least once per week in June, July, and August, but if the available times do not work for your program and you would like to schedule a session, please send an email to training@accelerate.education. Please specify the platform (Canvas or Schoology), and if this session would be for administrator training or teacher training. Someone from our team will reach out to you as soon as possible.
