Introducing Inbox: Simpler, Smarter Communication for Students and Teachers

At Accelerate Education, we’re committed to making online learning easier and more effective for everyone involved. That’s why we’re excited to announce the adoption of Inbox for our hosted school partners. Inbox is a built-in communication tool that allows students and teachers to connect directly within the learning platform. Inbox is designed to streamline communication and keep conversations connected to student learning.

Communication Built Right Into the Learning Experience

Inbox allows students and teachers to communicate without relying on external email services. Conversations happen directly within the learning management system, keeping important messages organized and easy to find. Messages can also be linked directly to assignments, submissions, and course activities, helping teachers provide timely, contextual support.

What School Partners Need to Know

Inbox is designed specifically for communication between students and teachers. School administrators and advisors who need to communicate with Accelerate Education teachers should continue using email. For partners utilizing Accelerate Education teachers, Inbox will serve as the primary communication channel for student-teacher interactions.

Beginning August 1, 2026, Inbox will be enabled by default for all hosted school partner domains. Any school that does not want to use Inbox should contact their Client Service Manager and request that it be disabled.
