New in December** End of Semester Tasks for Teachers (Accelerate Education's Buzz Instance)

Any Teachers/Accelerate Education’s instance of the Buzz platform (LMS)

Introduction/Prerequisites:

Whether schools use the built-in auto gradeout process or a pre-defined manual process, it is important teachers understand the process and checks needed at the end of a semester. This session is designed to review those basics and assure students are prematurely dropped from a course and assure teachers know how to pull their final grades after the completion process has occurred. No Prerequisites.

Initial Teacher Training - Part 2 ( Buzz LMS)

Introduction/Prerequisites:

Before attending Part 2, teachers should complete the on-demand Teacher Training – Part 1 activity. Whenever possible, we encourage all new teachers to attend this critical Part 2 training live.

Group Usage & Accommodations (Buzz LMS)

This session is for teachers who have completed training and are now fully utilizing their courses with students and wish to adjust their courses to meet the needs of their students. Prerequisites – teachers should have attended initial training prior to attending this webinar.

Reports & Dashboard Data for Teachers (Accelerate Education's Buzz Instance)

Introduction/Prerequisites:

Within the platform, teachers have lots of data at their fingertips. Join this session to learn which report or available dashboard meets your monitoring needs. No Prerequisites.

Using Buzz Tools for Effective Online Feedback (Buzz LMS)

Any Teachers/ Buzz platform (LMS)

Introduction/Prerequisites:

This session is for teachers wanting to improve their feedback techniques, especially using the built-in Buzz tools. Prerequisites – teachers should have attended initial training prior to attending this webinar.

Fridays : 10:00 – 11:00 Eastern (7:00 – 8:00 Pacific)

For our Canvas and Schoology users, we don’t have sessions scheduled after September. These will resume in the summer. If you would like to schedule a session for your program, please send an email to training@accelerate.education.
